Woden Park Training Times

Summer Season

Woden Thunder Athletics provides free public training access to Woden Athletics Park during the athletics summer season (October to March).  Training is available at the following times:

Mondays  –  4:30-6:00 pm

Tuesdays  –  4:30-6:00 pm

Wednesdays – 5:00-6:30pm (Woden Thunder Members ONLY)

Thursdays  –  4:00-5:30 pm

For non-members, the entry fee for these sessions (excluding Wednesdays) is $4 (Students) and $6 (Adult).

At Wednesday’s club training, coaches and a training program tailored for the club’s little athletics members will also be provided. Woden Thunder senior athletes are welcome at the track during that time for some coaching or to do their own session.  See our Membership page for further details.

Winter Season

There are no public training sessions conducted at Woden Park during the athletics off-season (April to September inclusive).

However, private access to Woden Park during this time may be able to be booked by coaches or athletics clubs on a restricted basis.
